Real steel guys I’m sure most of you have seen it and know it’s a banger and also I would pay a lot of money for them to make a second

Chris baldwin

I often see you wearing anime shirts. I would like to make a suggestion for its 10th anniversary, the anime movie “Your Name”.

Beeray

Inside Man, Dejavu

Scott Asher

I've never heard of The Christophers but from the bio it might be right up MrL's alley. That being said, I voted for Real Steel because its fun.

ViperBreeze

I would want him to react to an anime series called Golden Kamuy. It’s a real hidden gem.

Chris baldwin

I would like to see some anime series added into rotation also. Theres so much there. Jjk would be great watch also

Mikel Swart

I think FMA Brotherhood would peak his interest

Max

How the fuck is Project Hail Mary, a movie which just came out this year, getting on the poll before The Big Short, which has been requested hundreds of times? Explain that.

Ricardo Catarino

Yeah these polls are confusing… there are dozens of potential good content being ignored. It would be good for us and consequently the channel

Angie

I agree. Here we are again with movies that to my knowledge have never been on the polls before. I ask, how can all the movies that show up on the polls eventually be picked, when new movies are added at a faster rate. It would take years to get your movie seen. Which by then I will be taking a dirt nap. Maybe I am the lone one on this , but its just frustrating. I get it if the channel is going in this direction...it would be nice to know if that is the case. I am curious if others are happy with the polls?

Carl Lyngholm

Well... if I were running the channel (and I'm NOT), I would have a starting choice of like 5 movies (or whatever it is). The winning movie is replaced by a new movie, and the other choices roll over from last week. Rinse and Repeat. Then again, I don't know how movies make it on the "pre-poll list" to begin with. Some channels operate by patrons actually PAYING to have their selections watched, I don't think that happens here. Or at least I hope not.

Monarch Black

I'm just glad it did. It's a good movie and I think he'll enjoy all the interesting camera work (that's often lacking nowadays), aspect ratio changes and stuff like that. Should be a good reaction.

TigerMyth

Who trolled you with Midnight in Paris? Not that it is a terrible film but we all know how much you love Paris.

TigerMyth

Because new content has a better chance of getting him new viewers than movies people have seen 100 times. And yes, I would love for him to review The Big Short but I also have no problem with him reviewing a movie I have never seen.

Cosmicowl

I would like to see him react to anime movies such as Akira, Evangelion, Spirited Away, Ghost in the Shell, and others

Susan B

Because it’s wildly popular right now?

Susan B

Future suggestion: Free Solo, the Oscar winning documentary about climber Alex Honnold, who is neurodivergent. It’s thrilling. When I don’t want to think about anything else, I watch the climactic moments of Free Solo and it’s as suspenseful every time, despite knowing how it ends. Be a nice break from fiction thrillers.

Max

That’s not how it works though. According to him, the polls are based on requests. I’ve haven’t seen anyone request any of these movies. The Big Short and others have been requested hundreds of times in the last five years. Five years.

Michal Kubán

I wonder if he's seen FMAB, I would definitely recommend it too (my guess is yes, but if not, we should recommend it in separate comments! :D

Angie

I agree. The premise under my understanding was movies that were not picked would recycle back into the polls until they are picked. I have not seen The Big Short on a poll, however I will say several movies that were on a poll that did not get picked would not show up again, as there would be 2-3 new picks added. A few have, like Sling Blade which to be fair was my request. Just because its a hot movie right now shouldn't give it precedence over other patreon requests. My point was how on earth is that even possible to eventually get a request picked, if it gets replaced with 2-3 more requests. Like I said earlier if the way it is running is going to change it would be nice to know. So far I am seeing more of a shift. I love MrLBoyd reacts. He is one of my favorites, I understand you cant make everyone happy. For me personally I miss his movie picks. They were more my style. I also miss his older content on Youtube. Now its just political. But that is a subject for another day.

Scott Asher

Not mad at PHM. I started it a couple weeks ago but was too tired to get into it. Excited to finally watch.

Susan B

I made the rare decision to see it in the theater, because I’m a big fan of the book. Amazing film.

John Dodo

Is twelve monkeys on the list?

SageOfSixDabs

Some people just enjoy watching the same movie every day but with a new reactor.

Paul Carroll

Well it's all the young pups they only like brand new ones 😭 it's ashame because a lot of old ones are so great 😃 I'm 47 and I'm still seeing movies in theatre's at least once when they come out it's just the way the directors would like you to see it on the biggest screen you can not the smallest that's what I been doing since I was a child and still doing it just better in my book 😃

Luke

Hopefully we can get it next week
