Welcome to the world of Denis Villeneuve. Amazing director, one of the best working right now. Sicaro 2 is not directed by him and I really would not consider it a series, felt to me like the studio trying to cash in on the critical success of the first. What I do recommend is diving into Denis Villeneuve's filmography, specially if you appreciate his cinematography, it is definetly filled with absolute BANGERS and all well filmed. In total, his films have 9 academy awards and his budgets just keep getting higher. His last two movies, one that is yet to be release, both have over $160 million budgets. Cinematography wise, Blade Runner 2049 has to be at the top. That won an oscar for best cinematography and part of that is due to Roger Deakins, one of the best cinematographers of all time. However blade runner is a sequel to an old Ridley Scott film, but that should be on your list anyways since it is a CORNER STONE of moder scifi movies and well regarded. Villeneuve's other amazing movies that I highly reccomend are: Dune, Arrival, Prisoners and Enemy

I sat through this entire movie with you just to get your reaction to dinner. Thank you for letting me relive my reaction to dinner.

I think you'd like it, same director, great cinematography, probably great cameras and lenses, though I can't say for sure until you do a reaction

According to Wikipedia the budget was 'only' 30 million. They've produced some excellent value for money I guess.

ive watched this so many times. I always try to figure that first shotgun blast miss. I think I finally cracked it. if you watch it back when she enters the room she does what good swat would do and she does not stop she continues moving so he barely doesn't get her. its wild and lucky but believable.

also. - it's not the camera. Thats Roger Deakens the most legendary cinematographer of all time. As a photographer you need to watch The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
