MRLBOYD

I started this one (it was the second most voted when I asked you guys) so not for now until I figure out a better schedule

ChrisC

Soooooo excited!!!! Was not expecting this whatsoever!

Nate

Damn... okay at least it's the boys

kallista

omgggg the shade i love it

Nicholas Johnson

Yeah, to me "laying cable" sounds the same as "pulling rope."

tony hotaling

You are going to love this show!!! LFG!!!

Jake Martin

Shoutout to The King, Mr. Ronnie Coleman. I think what you're saying makes sense, man. The metabolic rate of a superhuman would demand so much fuel that it would become like a chore. Waking up in the night to shovel down food by the truckload. Also! Hughie's dad and the man from the meme is Simon Pegg. Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Mission Impossible franchise- lots of other stuff.

Flash Robins

Hughie's Dad, who normally has a British accent - is Simon Pegg. The meme is from Shaun of The Dead, which is a great movie.

Shawn Leaf

I love this show... you're in for a wild ride lol. Can't wait to hear your take on a few points of this show

kallista

star trek 2009 was the first thing i saw him in i think, as scotty. maybe mission impossible but not sure. karl urban, who plays billy butcher, was also in it as bones.

Shawn Leaf

Oh and you'd know Simon Pegg bc he played a younger Scotty in the rebooted star trek movies

Mister_Bleak

the "keep smiling. show must go on" stuff was probably because she was in pageants when she was younger, or so her audition tape had mentioned. aside from that, you seem to be pushing an idea that the show makes the men out to be scummy in particular. I think the idea is that supers are scummy..for the most part.... we've only really met 2 women and the business one seems shady as hell. those points aside, GREAT show so far, im glad you are liking it too and can't wait to watch more from ya.

Pistols O'Brien

The artist that did the Boys comic based Hughie's look off of Simon Pegg, who ended up playing Hughie's dad.

Nico Crinkleburg

Man, I was so pumped to get BB double episodes…. The Boys is good, but not in the same league as BB (in my opinion)…

Nate

Agreed but it is what it is

Garrie Morris

Shaun of The Dead needs to go on your list of future movies to react to (as well as Hot Fuzz)

Ruben VL

I liked the premise of the show, but for me it was a bit too much gore and I'm not a fan of that. I might watch along though.

gak9319

Did you recognise Karl Urban(Butcher) from LOTR, the King of Rohan's nephew Eomer😀

Lonna Neil

Yes, I was a little disappointed with not having 2 bb episode, but am excited to watch The boys as well. Here we go…

Jakob

The first season is just amazing. I was really impressed. Personally, I binged it, but kind of fell off in season 2. If you keep watching I might stay and even watch the third season here, instead, honestly. Very interesting premise, for sure.

Teth

This will be interesting to follow. The show is based on an actual comic, so the social commentary is also on the world of comics which is very male-dominated. It's about *people* being awful, most of the characters in power just happen to be male.
