The aftermath of the earthquake has finally settled down, so we have our full-scale production back!

Better late than never, here is our early September progress report!

We're going to report about:

1) The hostess system

2) The Steam Release!

3) Our Voice actor!

4) Our new Illustrations!

1) The hostess system

We already gave an introduction to the hostess system in an earlier report, but I felt it lacked some information, especially the fun you can have as a hostess and the growth elements when being a hostess.

-Overview

When talking to an NPC with either a star or heart above them, the "service talk" starts.

The service talk is called the "hospitality talk", you can make dialogue choices which will change the customer's mood and even Ascot's personality parameters.

After finishing the service talk, you will either have gotten information about a quest, from a "star NPC" or be invited to prostitution from a "heart NPC".

-About the customers' Mood

Selecting the right responses means the customer will be in a better mood.

This will not only increase the reward at the end of the conversation, but will also change the content of the prostitution scenes.

-Ascot's personality parameters

Ascot's personality parameters will also change according to the dialogue choices you make. They will be categorized in things as aggressiveness, passivity, intellectuality and naivety. At the end of a conversation, Ascot's personality will change regarding the choices you have made.

For example, when Ascot did not have a good conversation, Ascot can become aggressive and can start making aggressive comments, which will change the content and course of the conversation. And obviously, this will also change the content of prostitution as well.

It is up to the Player to decide what kind of person Ascot will become. If you want to please every customer, you will be forced to act "fake", as in change your personality in order to make the customers happy.

-The customer service level

If Ascot is a hostess, she gains experience everytime she performs services. With enough XP, you can, you guessed it, level up. This can unlock the following effects:

New personalities

New customer service skills, which will give you an advantage in conversation and rewards

New hostess costumes!

2) The Steam release!

I have heard that adult games will be allowed to be released on Steam soon.

There have already been adult games on Steam, but usually, you would have to patch in the nudity yourself.

However, that policy has changed and teams like us should be able to release our games on STeam.

While we are still unsure of the market we will have on Steam, we are planning to release our first work Rape of the Dead, as Seed of the Dead on Steam, as Team KRAMA.

The following contents are still not decided on, but we are currently preparing to bring on Steam like this:

Title: Seed of the Dead

Release: November-December (our target)

Selling price: $15 (equivalent to DLSite

In-game content: The full game, including the Patron Limited Edition

Supported Languages: Japanese, English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese

We had to recently remove RoD from Patreon, due to violating community guidelines, so we were hoping to re-release it as soon as possible.

With these changed guidelines on sites like Steam and Nutaku, we are hoping to bring our games back. 

You will hear more about this topic once we have more information!

Here's something I want to ask everyone.

We produced PatronLimitedEdition as a thankfulness to the supporter.

However, if that limited edition can not be posted to Patreon, I thought that I had to publish somewhere so that a limited edition could be played.

But it can be accepted as betrayal by supporters.

So when I posted Credit, I posted what Act 8 was able to develop thanks to support from the supporters and was planning to post the names of the people who supported them.

However, if there is a possibility of being betrayed still, I will release it in the same product version as DLSite, DMM.

I would like to hear your opinion about this.

3) We have decided on a Voice Actor, woo!

We were recruiting VA's since August, for Ascot and Amon and have since gotten 106 entries in total.

We have now decided on the Voice Actors for Ascot and Amon. We hope that you like them as much as we do.

They will be introduced in the next promotional video.

4) New illustrations!

This is Ascot working at the bar, but of course, there will be different looking bars and illustrations.
