Long time no see, Dunterg talking! Sorry for the delayed update.

There were various things we had to do, and we just didnt get an opportunity to report to you. We dont want this to happen this often anymore.

But for now, this is what we will report about:

SoD's Steam release

The Unreal Fest

Progress on character modeling

Winter comiket winner announcement

About the future progress reports

1. SoD's Steam release

The game passed through steam and Seed of the Dead can now officially be released!

We're currently scheduling the release for early december and we're trying to release it before the Steam christmas seal, but we're currently working on the last bug fixes.

The Steam version will not have new content, but only include bug fixes and partial controller support!

Also, its working with simplified Chinese!

Important Notice

Until now, Enty, Ci-en had released the RoD patron limited edition for supporters, but we decided to stop this on the end of November 30th

This is because we thought it is not appropriate to provide that limited supporter content with the normal product.

Thank you a lot of your continued support on Seed of the Dead, and for supporting us!

Thanks to you, we are able to sell Seed of the Dead on Steam.

This is something you have made possible. Thank you so much!

Future development of SoD

Spanish translation

In addition to Simplified Chinese, we are planning to add Spanish.

The game will then ship with the languages: Japanese, English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese and Spanish Awesome, isnt it?

Releases on Nutaku and Fakku

After getting the work done with the Steam release, we're planning to release it to Nutaku and Fakku as well. (Both sites cannot be accessed from Japan, though, we apologize.)

Althought it is not clear yet, Nutaku and Fakku may be able to release a mosaic-free version

The limited edition

We have not completed the translation on the limited edition yet, so we don't know if we can ship it with the complete game on Steam yet.

We may have to add the content in later on in an update.

What about other updates?

We will work as hard as we can on major bugs, crashes and other experience ruining issues.

However, most of our work will be put on ASCOT.

We have learned a lot by working on SoD, so we will use that experience to make ASCOT even better!

2. Unreal Fest meeting

On October 14th I participated in the Unreal Festival held in Pacifico Yokohama.

This event was  a study group on Unreal Engine, and I was able to have exchanges with people related to the Unreal Engine.

We also added two new members on the spot!

Including partial assistance, this ramps up our production staff to 13 people! Quite a full house, eh?

3. Character modeling progress

We have done a lot of work!

This is the enemy. I can't wait for it to be completed!

4. Winter comiket election winner announcent

Comiket revealed the teams that can have a booth, and Team KRAMA can officially exhibit on December 30th!

Our circle will be placed on Sunday's east district "Chi" 09b

We are planning to distribute our protoype of "Ascot: Demon's Waltz" which we have mentioned before.

If all goes well, we're going to distribute it to supporters, so we hope that you look forward to meeting us and getting to play the game!

5. Future progress reports

More than one month has passed since our last update.

There are more things we want to report about, things such as:

About motion capture using the HTC Vive

Videos summarizing the looks of the current battle scenes in ASCOT

The opening cutscene of ASCOT!

Videos summarizing the progress done on quests

Aoins new illustrations!

SoD's promotion site

There are a lot of things happening at once here.

We had one thing to do after another, so it was difficult to just sit down and write an update in peace. (Not suggesting that we don't enjoy our work, it can just get stresssful)

Actually, the most difficult thing when writing articles are the video editing and translation.

Every month we have carefully selected scenes that we think are good enough to show to people, but it has become more and more difficult to find time to do this.

Translation is us using Google Translate and then having a volunteer supporter fix it and post it.

It takes time to smoothly correct Japanese articles.

We are grateful that it is fixed up quickly by a volunteer. Thats me, hi!

However, we still want to reduce that burden so we want to summarize our work and updates as much as possible, which can lead to delays.

But we are obviously still very sorry for our month long silence. We know you want to be updated.

We changed our update policy as follows, we hope that this is a good compromise:

The monthly report is gone. We will post when we have news that we think are worthy to report

We will not categorize promotion and development videos and we will just post progress on our games, and etc., without editing as they are

Sorry for the inconveniences caused by this policy change, but this should be better for everyone!

Thank you for your continued support, as always. Youre the best

The character models look very good so far. I think the biggest danger of game development is it to run out of funds, so it is a good idea to sell SoD on Steam/Nutaku/Fakku.

Wish I could go to comiket =/ Also will you release the prototype to enty/patreon supporters the day before, after or the same time as comiket distribution?
