[kpop] IVE - After Like (Patreon)

After Like is the song that truly locked me in as an IVE fan when it was released. I remember thinking, “Damn, they sound hot” and indeed they were after a quick search 🔥

Wony and Yujin are just top tier throughout this era, and the song still hits every bit as hard today

Looking back, though, early IVE really did feel like Wony and Yujin.... and four others at times. Starship was clearly hyped to capitalize on them being fresh off their IZ*ONE stardom, but it unfortunately led to noticeably less effort highlighting everyone else. I’m very glad the group feels much more balanced now, but that also makes revisiting this era interesting :CantStop: it’s a glimpse at where IVE started and how far they’ve come!

Naturally, I went a little overboard revisiting it 🫠

Please enjoy!
