fromis_9 - LIKE YOU BETTER (Patreon)

LIKE YOU BETTER was the first fromis_9 song that really got stuck in my head, and it eventually got me to sit down and give their back catalog a proper listen. So I’m especially happy to finally give this one the full release with 60+ videos synced! 😂

Can we talk about the plot of this MV for a second though? 🧐

The girls apparently share ONE suitcase between all five of them, and it gets stolen by someone in a sketchy pickup truck while under Jiheon’s care 🤨 So naturally, they go on a road trip to retrieve it, almost running over a hamster along the way 🤦

They then casually loot a supermarket like it’s the apocalypse, where their stolen suitcase is somehow sitting inside a public claw machine 😭

After all that effort to recover it, they put it on the roof of their car without tying it down, drive off, and immediately launch it onto the ground, breaking it open and scattering their stuff everywhere like someone leaving their Dunkin’ coffee on the roof this morning. Definitely not me 😅

Then they just dance off into the sunset in different outfits and locations like none of this happened 🙂

An entire journey spoiled by the absence of a luggage strap, when they had a whole damn SUV trunk to put it in 🤦 A hamster almost got wasted for this

But seriously, I think this comeback as a five-member group did a fantastic job of making all five members shine. Chaeyoung is my favorite here, with Jiheon and Nagyung a close second and third. Though Jiwon is looking so good too omg... I’m (and you're) starting to see why I ended up with 60+ syncs 🫠 Definitely check out their cams!

The script itself is so damn good, and I’m super happy with how it turned out! Very glad I can finally give this one its full release especially with such a banging song!!!

Please enjoy!
