Kudos to both the commissioner and you. This was a fun idea, and you really made great use of Inque’s powers, especially the use of breast and ass expansion. There were moments where she smothered Spidey that sounded both extremely hot and extremely calming at once. Hope to see you use expansion stuff in the future. I’ll be honest, when I first saw the premise, I almost thought this might be some yandere-style femdom story, where Inque obsessively chases down Spidey, overpowers him, and renders him helpless as she takes over his suit and has her fun with him. But I much prefer what we got here, filled with equal parts sweet femdom and sweet wholesomeness. And really I have no reason to expect otherwise from you at this point. Reading this reminded me a lot of your short story Three Little Words, where the guy is feeling fragile after a bad breakup while the girl shows she both genuinely has the hots for him and genuinely cares about him. It’s a sweet dynamic that does a lot to sell this unexpected crossover pairing. You can tell Inque actually likes Peter a lot, from struggling not to laugh at his jokes to having an actual heart-to-heart with him when he’s at his lowest moment. Makes the domination all the more satisfying to see. Speaking of which, her flirty, ravenous attitude was fantastic. That “Too much, or not enough” line is probably my favorite quote from her. And I loved how playful she was as she used her powers to dominate him, like smacking her ass to make it slap him as he got smothered or pretending to fight with one of her clones over him. All in all, it’s a fun story, and it certainly shows off the appeal of this ship.

Much appreciated! It was definitely fun playing with such a strange character like Inque and all the creative things she can do in bed. Tonally it was interesting. The commission made clear that on one hand she is very manipulative and nasty, which is why I have her eavesdropping and overhearing the breakup, she's pretty deliberately swooping in when he's on the rebound and fragile. But at the same time it was also said that her feelings were very genuine, and she did mean what she said even if she went about it in kind of a messed up way. Funnily enough that opening scene was the hardest one to write. The beginning of a story almost always is actually, but in this case, it was very unusual jumping right into a tearful breakup. The prompt said they were on one of their many breaks but I wanted to up the drama a little, and while I can tell they weren't into Peter and MJ after the way comics bungled them, I didn't want to like make it a footnote? Wanted to avoid painting MJ too poorly I guess, I ended up laboring over that more than usual. For me, a big thing with this story is that... I do quite like Spidey, and that guy has to be one of the most long-suffering characters in a lot of fiction, writers in all mediums LOVE making him miserable. And it does its job in making him easy to sympathize with, but I did really like having the chance to give him a big W here. This one couldn't be one of those slowly-breaking-him stories, I wanted this to have as happy an ending as I could manage.

Yeah, all the characters felt very natural and human in this. They’re all messy in their own ways and make mistakes, but they’re not one-note, cardboard cutouts. MJ’s way of breaking up was horrible, but it’s understandable where she’s coming from. Spidey’s willing to accept the advances of a supervillainess, but that’s because he’s faced so much misery and rejection that he could really use some genuine connection and acceptance for once. Inque preyed on an obvious weakspot just to get what she wanted, but even she had second thoughts once she saw how it affected Spidey. And I think the moment of insecurity that even someone like Inque had went a long way towards making her endearing rather than a bland, selfish dommy mommy. She sounded genuinely cute and fragile when she went from boasting that she’s better than the likes of (presumably) Black Cat to quickly wondering if she can actually give up a life of crime. So all that messy genuineness really went a long way to making this feel like a satisfying W for our boy Spidey, and he deserves it.
