Hey folks! Just writing really quick to give an update on what's cooking.

I'll be shifting my schedule to prioritize game development for a while. I plan to do half of my previous commission capacity and cut down on side projects.

Being an artist involves wearing a lot of hats. There's a constant push and pull between managing short-term "content" algorithms and developing long-term projects. I really dislike grinding for numbers, I'm more motivated by pushing my limits and growing as a creator. My earnings here and my commission work keep food on the table so it's a little scary to pull away from consistent art drops to make something more grand. Despite the financial side, even if it takes a bit longer, I'd rather make things I'm proud of. I want to program more ambitious systems, write more engaging stories, and practice new art forms. Overloading on commissions is good for my main art style (and my wallet) but it pigeonholes my growth in one particular skill. I've had a few large projects in development for too long and it's time to give them the care they need.

Thanks for supporting me both in terms of feedback and contributions here on Patreon. Even if you can't support financially, the love is felt and it helps keep me going! I hope to make some fun new things for you all very soon!-Zyyph
