Monkey D Luffy will surpass everyone

The legend has finally returned after so many years. There are also rumors that an Avatar: The Last Airbender series about Aang is planned, and it's expected to have three seasons.

I really gotta check this movie out! Just time for the kind of soon to be released Avatar: Seven Havens. Seen a lot of hate comments about it from the trailer but I think it looks GOOD.

Great Reaction! Loved seeing the Team Avatar back together. Overall, the movie to me was 6.5/10, with much of the heavy lifting done by the great animation and music. However, the plot seemed underdeveloped. We didn't really explore Aang's feelings that much. We didn't explore anything in the between stage between ATLA and Korra, like how Aang didn't solve the growing nonbending vs. bending issues in Republic City. I also wish the movie kept a more consistent grounded tone without the random extended jokes in the spirit world near the end of the movie and the entire battle turning into a big laser battle like in Korra season 2. Additionally, the pacing needs to be worked on since there was way too much setup needed for an 80-minute movie. Ultimately, they really should have chosen a plot with limited setup needed, centered around character development, flaws, and grounded fights.

Honestly.. I think the avatar fandom is just like that... anything that is not the OG show is ultimately critiqued to death... the new show looks alright from the trailer and I and Sisi are excited for it.

Valid criticism to be fair. A lot is left to be desired but it probably is really hard to cover an entire lifespan of Aang between him as a kid and him as an adult without the movie feeling extremely rushed.. Maybe one big issue with the movie is there isn't really a memorable moment really?

The movie just felt like it was trying to do to many things at once. Create a large-scale conflict, set up Aang's trauma, and include the prelude to the non-bending Equalists to the point where everything became diluted. If they had stuck to a limited setup, character-grounded conflict without trying to do many things, the movie would have been much better. That also would have created memorable character moments too, since the heart of a movie is its story and characters.
