DAIKI🇯🇵

I think you both can relate to this. Kita is especially popular among Japanese fans. Many of us grow up being told by our parents, “Always do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Someone is always watching.” We don’t really know who that “someone” is, but the point is to discipline yourself and always do what’s right. Kita embodies that idea, which is why so many people admire him.

Kita is everyone's favorite in 1 episode one of the greatest Haikyu tropes lol :D His story is so inspirational, he doesn't have exceeding talents and his hard-work didn't pay of for LONG time (middle school and first 2 years of highschool) but he kept it up, build himself from his routine and he is captain of #2 team in Japan. His grandma's words of "someone always watching" was true in the sense that Inarizaki coach seen his process and development into awesome player/captain and rewarded him with captain role, even though he doesn't do it for rewards at this point. He likes the journey and its awesome! He isn't playing on starting 6 because he is basically more defensive version of Daichii (with a little bit of Kenma) and 2 outsides (Aran + Gin) are much talented than him offensively + blocks and Osamu is playing opposite who can do it all at high level. Also sometimes having a great sub to change the flow of game can be more important, especially somewhat mentally weak team like Inarizaki. Kageyama blocking top 5 ace in solo block??! What can't this man do!!! A SUPERSTAR RISING IN NATIONAL STAGE!!!

The running "joke" of everybody straight up glazing Kita and him becoming their favorite continues with you guys haha. I don't think there is a single person who can say anything ill about his character.

Sebastian Sole and Barthelemy Chinenyeze both hit like Rinatro's weird twist shot if you look up their highlights

Kita isn't their Libero bc their Libero is AMAZING.
