15 refiles of ice tea... perhaps bring them a pitcher and up those tips Nicole. ;)

That happened to me last week. I had a guest with me that asked for a LOT. She did request politely, but yeah..pretty high maintainence. It hotvto where the server just didn't come our way anymore... it was my bill, I paid it, and tipped her well, but I did put a "shame on you" note on the bill. My guest went to the bathroom, and the server darted over quickly to apologize to me. I told her it was fine, then mentioned that my guest was homeless, so it wasn't terribly surprising she wanted a bit of spoiling. Unique situation, yes..but to myself, it was funny..

Our servers detested the customer who needed a WHOLE pitcher of ice tea. What’s the deal? No need to be so greedy/glutinous! I feel ya Nicole 🤣

Tammy Reed Newton

This is very true. I've practiced the passive aggressive Nicole is talking about on more than one occasion.

Jayne

I’ve been this person more often than I could tell you. Sorry, not sorry.

Many restaurants won't let servers bring pitchers of anything EXCEPT water. It can lead to a lot of running. I wish I could leave pitchers of diet Coke sometimes. 😩 🤣🤣

My favorite passive aggressive server move is when I just keep being me during a greet, even when they rudely interrupt me. It confuses most people when I don't shy away from their stupidity. Usually goes like this...

"Hi there, I'm Sar" - I'LL HAVE A DIET COKE!! "Ok great. My name is Sarah and I'll be taking care of you today. Welcome back if you've been here before and welcome if it's your first time. I'll be happy to show you around the menu. Please let me know if you have any questions. Our soups today are ___ and our fresh baked muffins are ___. I know that you're thirst and I already have your drink order, so I'll go ahead and get that started. Would you like me to get you anything else, RIGHT NOW?" 🤣🤣🤣 I of course make it extra long and drawn out - in my snarkiest nice server voice, obviously.

Katie

I get passive aggressive when people want me to throw rolls away and get them a fresh hot basket. I always say, “okay I’ll just throw these in the trash and get you some more!”

Beth Ann Byerly

...okay, apparently I'm passive-aggressive and didn't know it...

Angie Kritenbrink

Sometimes I wonder deep thoughts like... Is Nicole pretty? Or does she just think she's hot shit?

Rebecca

I feel seen! 🤣

The way I’ve done the eye contact thing sooo many times and it’s always because I’m annoyed
