being a teenager in England in the 2010s means this album changed my LIFE lol. it's almost too nostalgic! I saw them tour it at tiny venues here and it was my gateway to the magical world of British indie. unreal album! Their shows were electric Also - still gunning for a Wolf Alice reaction, especially to Blue Weekend! I kind of found WA through the 1975 and I think you'd looove them

The 1975 are my favourite band of all time! Being from Manchester, we're very lucky and proud of the talent exported from our city over the years. I was fortunate enough to attend a very intimate performance in 2023 at a small venue here in Manchester where they played this entire record (plus a few other of their big hits.)

Being 17 is a weird age. Being in the UK we started having house parties most weeks, introduced to drinking, and with that came a lot of friend drama. Very interesting but fun period. Started listening to more music at that age so I find it’s the most nostalgic period of my life, and this album was one of the first.
