Loving the single content, that underscores album looking quite nice too 🫣

711 is always SO fun to me! I feel like aside from the beats, if it's new to you, you really can only "appreciate" it by watching the video while listening to it... It's pure foolishness in the best way 😂 Like in 711 she's showing she really just be doing & saying whatever comes to her in the moment lol! The part where she jumps on the bed & Blue was a baby in the bed was ridiculous😭🤣

Beyonce, Lana, Thundercat whaaaat 🥰

layla

With Raye her new album coming up (which is looking FENOMENAL!) you guys should really react to her ‘My 21st Century Blues’ It is so soo amazing and a good preparation for her new album!! 😊

jry

seconding! Raye is a SINGULAR artist -- have been hoping to hear what you think!

Ema Direito

Im a simple gal, I see Beyoncé, I click

Tara

If you wanna hear Beyoncé rap, definitely check out "Everything is Love" with Jay Z

SP

The video has such quarantine vibes way before quarantine 😭 I love when she's being goofy

Monica Williams-Samuels

No SERIOUSLY! I hadn't even put that together, but you know what.... Yessssssssssss exactly that

Honey-Bee

We NEED that Renaissance film like NOW

Rebeka Dawn 🇨🇦

im going to echo a bunch of ppl here and say, get into "everything is love" by the carters if you wanna hear some INSANE rapping by beyonce. that was the culmination album after Lemonade & Jay-Zs 4:44 where they both expressed a lot of growth separately and together... and decided to do what was an incredibly under rated collab album. youWILL NOT regret it!!!

calling Partition "the barricade song" killed me lol. if you guys do the Lemonade Film (which you should as soon as possible because it will change your life) (it literally won a Peabody Award) you should have someone make you a page of info to read along with while watching. there is so much cultural and historical significance intertwined that is so important to the viewing experience!

Daniel

Definitely!

The word on the street with the 7/11 video when it came out was that it was around the same time as the infamous elevator video with Jay z, Beyonce and her sister Solange. Also this is the same time of the cheating rumors and it was difficult time in their marriage. Her being in a hotel room with her dancers was like her independence away from home during this difficult time in their marriage. Allegedly 👀

Two songs from the Beyoncé self titled album I think you should check out are Ring Off and Grown Woman. They both still fit the original album sonically, but are both much more lyrically significant than 7/11, especially pertaining to womanhood. Ring Off is so striking as it is not just an empowerment song in terms of Beyoncé's life, but shows her empowering her mother 🥹. That is a topic that rarely gets shine in pop music, so the song is very special to me. As for Grown Woman, the song embodies the joy of entering womanhood.

Hearts

They're both on Spotify, though for some reason Grown Woman doesn't show up in the Platinum Edition of self titled, so you'd have to search it up separately.... Also if you haven't heard it yet, you should absolutely listen to the Madonna remix of Break My Soul, titled "The Queens Mix". Out of all of the pop girls, I really think it's Beyoncé who is following in the footsteps of Madonna, even more so than Britney or Gaga. Like Madonna, Beyoncé isn't scared to push industry boundaries to spread her ideas, and she's continuously evolved throughout her career. The respect that both these ladies have for their predecessors and the importance of carrying a message in the music is really heartwarming.

Hearts

If you're continuing your journey of reacting to Beyoncé albums, do you think you'll continue to go in opposite chronological order of release? So, her fourth album (intentionally titled "4") next, and then I Am... Sasha Fierce (her third album), B'Day (her second album), and finally Dangerously in Love (her debut)?

Hearts

You've probably gotten more requests for "B'Day" as it is a fan favorite album (full of bangers), but I think you really get a sense of her evolution as an artist if you follow through in chronological order. Any way works though LOL!

binodthehammer

we getting any future or young thug reactions anytime soon? 🙏

Watchin a lil late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVVVVVVV!!!! I knew you'd love that ThunderMac. I know you're feelin it when you close your eyes and the lap drumming starts up haha. Make sure you check out the music video for that track. It's SO well done. watch for the lil easter eggs

Corey

Happy birthday! Kevin, you still have more Mac left, Macadelic!

MKit

Please consider Flamagra by Flying Lotus, such an incredible album

Ana Garcia

Actually, Beyoncé has already released an album with several trap songs — Everything Is Love, a collaborative album with Jay-Z, credited to The Carters. I’m sure you’ve heard Lemonade and 4:44; Everything Is Love is the conclusion of this “trilogy.”
