Glad you guys covered Ryan! I actually got into his album recently because of how much I’ve been replaying BLEACH & SUGAR from BROCKHAMPTON, which i know he had a huge involvement with those songs. Much love to you both!

Clairo has bunch of writing credits and some little singing bits throughout the whole album. She was very involved seemingly

Lexsi

you have to do clairos album immunity.

TJMortimore

Starface is mine or pyrotechnics

Clairo & Ryan haven't collaborated before this album but they've been friends for a long time and I believe Clairo played "Sexy to Someone" live for the first time at one of his shows!

seafop

Ryan's writing has only gotten better with time, but in defense of Calico, I think it's sparse lyrics and minimal percussion emphasize its themes of struggling to embrace vulnerability and learning to live again. You've kinda gotta meet Ryan in his total surrender. There's also something to be said about the soft reclamation of masculine Americana imagery/sound & (nonreligious) faith from a queer artist, esp after his early career. The album just feels like California in a way I really enjoy, too, but I'm from here, so I'm probably biased. That's all pretty supplemental, though. Ultimately, if it doesn't click for you sonically, it doesn't click, and that's alright. Glad you guys checked him out and enjoyed yourselves with this album + hope you're able to see him on tour! I've got tickets to see him in September, and I'm super psyched 🫡

Cam

Wondering if you guys will ever come back to Magdalena Bay and listen to Mercurial World❤️

febos

So happy you’re continuing to react to him! He’s beyond talented

Sian Day

Time for Boy in Jeans!

Connor Moore

Landon

Would die for the new Madonna tbh. Her best album since the 90's

Taffy

Have you guys heard of Blondshell? She just announced a new album last week, think you would like the first two as well.

K

pls do dangelos voodoo

Seth & Brent

I was waitinggggg for this one. SO GOOD I would love if guys found time for Madonna’s new album, Confessions II. Such good pop music. I’ve heard you mention her a few times, and this is likely one of the best of her career

Jredmo

Dreaming of David is vibey in a completely different way than anything else he’s done. Would love to see a reaction to that someday!

killian

would love to see boy in jeans and dreaming of david too! since they're a completely different style to his recent music

LeviRG

absolutely gorgeous album

Luis Ruiz

Definitely can’t wait to see if they listen to Boy in Jeans. There’s a huge difference in his style and I think that comes from his youthfulness. It’s definitely more poppy but he’s very witty and clever with his wordplay still.

zena younes

You guys have to do Shawn Mendes's self titled album!

Ben
