And here it is, the finished animation.

This one ended up being much more of a technical experiment than I originally expected. What started as a fairly simple idea of Madelyn ejaculating over the camera turned into my first proper attempt at getting Houdini involved in the workflow, rebuilding parts of the scene for Arnold, experimenting with cheaper rendering tricks, and generally finding ways to make this sort of animation more practical to produce.

There are definitely things I’ll improve the next time I tackle fluid simulation, but for a first attempt I’m pretty happy with how the semen turned out, especially once it starts hitting and running across the camera. More importantly, I now have a much better idea of how to approach this kind of effect without spending a ridiculous amount on render-farm time.

Hopefully the little WIP posts leading up to this have been interesting too. I’d like to keep sharing more of the actual production process alongside finished animations, especially whenever I’m testing some new technique or figuring out a more efficient way of doing things.

Anyway, enough technical rambling. Enjoy Madelyn making an absolute mess of the camera.
