Hi Patrons!

It's time to meet me, after so many years.

I could not stay in the shadows like R forever, sooner or later I had to take this step, even if I am terribly ashamed because I do not speak your language and I'm terrible on video .

But it is right that you know who I am, since my greatest dream is to meet you in person in a comicon, somewhere I must begin to become familiar with my readers :)

Please ... be patient and understanding for all my mistakes. If they make you smile I'm happy, but I want to improve and feel more comfortable speaking in English.

I'm excited, shy and clumsy.

Well ... now I can not go back, I hope you enjoy it

Many many thanks to Gianluca for uploaded this video on Christmas day, he is a real friend!

Bye bye,

Vanessa

omg! seeing and hearing you on video is a high honor to me thank you for braving out being on video to speak to your fans (i know i couldnt do that myself), you would do great in America speaking in my opinion. I hope you enjoy your holidays as well! Merry Christmas to you and everyone <3

Mrwolf12

bravissimo!! and Merry Christmas! Knew you could do it! :)

Grey 'Greycat' Silvermane

*Hugs!* And an Awesome Christmas to you! You shouldn't worry about your english, if you wish to do more videos with you on them just go ahead, you will only get better. Been through it myself.

Merry Christmas Vanessa. You did just fine. With a little practice I'm sure you'll be great!

H-h-HOLY MOLY!!!!! OoO I got butterflies in my stomach when I was watching your video, Vanessa! <3 Seeing you talk for the first time (AND in English) feels so surreal to me. O.O Am I dreaming? Because this was so amazing!!!! :DDDD Your English was fine, and I (and a lot of your Patrons I believe) could understand what you were saying. (✿◠‿◠) Lets talk about those two meals. lol The Pandoro looks like the Italian version of a Pan Dulce. OoO The way you describe using the Pandoro reminds me of Biscottis. ^-^ Also that other dish your neighbors got you looks like a baked version of Quiche. :3 Anyways, I loved the video you have made! :D You looked amazing and your English was nice, Vanessa. ^o^ I'm happy that you were able to do this video. :) I especially liked the part where you spoke Italian in the last few seconds of the video. XD Merry Christmas!

Dorksoul

Hope you had a great Christmas!

I love following and reading all your updates, Vanessa, but this has to be the best update yet. What a wonderful video to watch. It's such a great way for your readers to get a better idea of who you are. To better understand the person that we're supporting, and who is bringing us so much great art :) I've been following you for many years now, and I believe that this was the first time I've seen a video of you and heard your voice. It's difficult for me to describe, but watching this video makes me even happier to support you, so I hope that you'll make many more videos. Thank you very much for sharing it, and I hope you've had a great Christmas :D

Thank you dear Noecllex <3 ! The honor is mine to read your appreciation. I challenged the embarrassment and the fear because I want to show you that I'm a real and grateful person and very happy to be free to work as I always wanted, speaking to my supporters and fans. Before I could not because it was not me who received the payments on the old site and did not know the customers. Now that I know you, I think it is right to show you that I care a lot about you. Thanks for your support. I wanted to tell you this with my face and my voice so much. V.

Grazie!! I hope that you appreciated my thanks for your gift, I opened it on Christmas Day and I'm sending you now the private unboxing video I promised you ^-^ I filmed it during the Christmas afternoon, yesterday after the party at the home of my relatives. Of course I already saw what you sent me ... and I'm super happy :D !! I like everything so much! Thanks from the bottom of my heart! <3 <3 <3

I had butterflies in my stomach too XD! Well Pandoro is not like the Pan Dulce because Pan Dulce is more similar to Panettone ;) I did not find the equivalent in America, or in Japan, of Pandoro. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandoro But even Wikipedia can not describe, in my opinion, its consistency, because it is not bread, it is more similar to a sponge cake XD. As for the last part of the video, well it is a BLOOPER XD I say " Finished! I never want to do it again...uhu?" Ahahahahah!!! XD Because it was the the umpteenth time I did it, every time I was wrong and started all over again. This was the last attempt and I managed to speak without interruption! At the end of the video I was so exhausted and stressed that I said "I never want to do it again!" LOL

Thank you Symphony for the nice words and compliments!! ^-^ I hope that now every doubt about whether I am a real person and with sincere feelings towards my readers is gone. I have to thank those who invented Patreon because for many artists it is natural to open a page on this site, but for me it was a lifeboat. I was falling into an abyss of frustration and depression. A person has sucked my energy for years acting for me, speaking for me, managing everything for me, I created everything with chains. I broke these chains with Patreon and after 13 years I made a video. So it's proof that I was not free and comfortable before, and now I'm experiencing a new free dimension. So thanks patron and thanks to you and everyone else if I managed to do this surprising thing :) Thank you! I wish you a nice day and happy new year! :)

Thank you very much Rick! I appreciate a lot your compliments!I hope to always do my best, I will work hard, I must deserve the support of you patrons who are so kind and generous! I'm glad you notice my effort, it makes me feel good. Thank you! :)

Merry Christmas to you Vanessa, it was amazing to see the person behind the heart and soul of BonBon, See and hearing you tell us about that pandoro, i believe you said, had me looking the web to order some. I'm the type who loves to try new things that are rare to come across in the us, at least where I am in my mountain town xD. Keep up the amazing work, can't wait to see what the new year brings but deep down I can tell it will be fantastic. I might speak for all of us here when i say, much love to you. ^^

Dear Drake thank you so much for the kind words!! If you want to try a Pandoro I recommend you look for one made in Italy, the best is from Verona, where the formula for making Pandoro was developed and perfected. And do not forget to dust it with vanilla-scented icing sugar that you will find inside ( into a sachet) made to resemble the snowy peaks of the Italian Alps during Christmas and give it the final taste touch! ^-^ PS Love for you is reciprocated <3

I finally had the opportunity to download and watch the video. I really enjoyed getting to hear you speak; you have a lovely and easy-to-listen-to voice and I would be more than happy to hear you speak again. I also really enjoyed the small cultural lessons you added. The "giant doughnut" sounds very delicious. hehe My only advice would be keep making videos, even if they're just short, little blogs about anything you might want to share with us. I'm sure there would be plenty of interest in hearing you talk more about Italian "stuff", for example. I certainly would like that. Making more videos will help you build confidence and learn through first hand experience. I would also suggest lowering the resolution a little bit. This should be an easy thing to do in the settings of whatever device you might be using to record the video at the time. A smaller resolution will make the video smaller for upload and download, which will be more convenient for both you and us. :) *sends a kiss back*

Thanks Sillvador! *smack!* I'll take care of everything you wrote to me, I'm glad, it makes me really happy! If I'm lucky maybe this year 2019 I will do an English course to improve my conversation. I need luck because as you know I'm participating in a contest in which you win the sustenance of a course of your choice. I hope to win it, but if I do not win it will not be an obstacle, I will still practice and study alone :) Yes, you're right, in fact I sent Mr. Wolf 12 his private video ina bit lower res because otherwise I will not be able to send it. I found a good compromise and next time it will be like this! Now I start to draw and work again and then maybe I'll show you a new video in spring, like how we celebrate Easter in Italy ;)
