This is the third of my "Final Crash" editions of the Streets of Rage video game soundtracks. For new viewers, these soundtracks are faithful note-for-note recreations of Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima's original SOR songs, built from the ground up with NO remix stems, and NO samples. Everything has been meticulously recreated from scratch. Next, I build entirely new sections onto the existing songs to flesh them out and give them more character and scope.

These are my compositions, designed to work hand-in-hand with the original songs. The objective was to simulate what the composers might have done if they had more time, better hardware, and greater storage capacities beyond the limits of the 16-Bit age. Streets of Rage 3 is divisive, on purpose, and that's what makes it so special. Most gamers were unprepared for the sudden and swift sonic deviation from SOR1 and SOR2, with its hardcore acid techno and frantic beats. At first, I was hesitant about expanding and enhancing this soundtrack, but I am glad I decided to tackle the project. I am most proud of the work I did on SOR3, and it was such a challenge to try and build upon the wonderfully chaotic material that Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima came up with. My soundtracks were remastered and rebalanced for ultimate sonic clarity, so they could be used with F-Games' upcoming Streets of Rage X fangame, which I highly suggest you all try. While the overall mixing, EQing and mastering was straightforward, there were nonetheless some balancing issues to tackle, as well as lots of errors on the original videos that I wanted to fix this time 'round.
