Ohhh snap!! Hopefully in future episodes, you'll understand why this episode was important 😁😁

Andrew

Remember, when this first aired it was a weekly thing going on for several months. They always throw in at least one recap episode, usually before a finale.

Interlude Party is actually really interesting once you know everything. And it actually did give you more information than you think. But don't worry the plot will resume next ep. Also, rewatch the new intro for a nice spoiler ;)

Annie

Love this episode but I understand how it can be frustrating the first time you watch it. But I love how the clips are organized by theme, and also all the Hohenheim scenes ... young Pinako ... so many feels.

@llM1ghty

Its a recap of the past 26 episodes and there is a good reason why Hohenheim is so focus for the next episode.

Kaycee

Idk if you realized but the young woman with the pipe who was with hoenhime at the bonfire thing was pinako rockbell. That is winry's grandmother but younger. It was all a bit confusing but it's okay since it was just a dream. But pinako and hoenhime were actual drinking buddies when she was that young that's why he said "thanks for everything" and looked at the empty bottle.

Jackie

In his dream, Hoehenhiem/Pinako is the angel and Hoehenhiem without the glasses [ ;D ] is the devil. The people dancing by the fire and Hoehenhiem watching represents him watching humanity; how they grow, their weakness (violence), and their strength. The "devil" is projecting all of his self doubts and cynicism, while the "angel" is encouraging him on his journey. In the end it was his wife who made him realised that he can do this, and he carried on to do whatever he must do, for those whom he loves.

Jackie

Also, the little girl who asked him for a dance was Trisha! The young lady who held his hand was also Trisha! I'll let you draw your own conclusion with that ;D

Jackie

I only appreciate this episode more on my rewatch

Princess Paladin

You two weren't even watching what was going on. Or Jane wasn't at least. :( Also, it's not "terrible". What the heck? I told you it was a recap episode in the last episode. : /
