Rewatching with you guys... I'm an emotional wreck again 😭😭😭 There are five specials between Season 4 and 5. You watched the first: The Christmas Special; The Next Doctor Then you have::::::::::::: Planet of the Dead The Waters of Mars The End of Time, Part 1 The End of Time, Part 2 To answer your other question, the man's name is Wilfred (Wilf) Noble, and is played by actor Bernard Cribbins. Fun fact, way back in the REAL early days of Who (1966), there was a Doctor Who movie made where he was a one-shot companion. The movie is... not great, and is not considered a part of the Who timeline in any way, shape, or form.

If you're on mobile, the app is honestly really good. It takes you right to the video and you can either preview it (just watch it without downloading); download it to your device, or save it to your mega library and do either of the above whenever you want. I cry hard every single time on this. Donna's exit is one of the hardest things to watch in the entire history of the show for me and both Catherine Tate and Bernard Cribbins performances are devastating. She comes so so far as a person and then it's all undone, it's almost worse than death. For me Season 4 is my absolute peak of Doctor Who - though some prefer Season 5, so in a way I hope it hasn't peaked for you yet.

oh Gwen Coopers actress was in the charles dickens episode with the alien ghosts. Theres actauly quite a few background characters whoes actors get recast later on in bigger parts. LIke how Marthas actress was a torchwood person in the season finale and they retconed it to being her sister,
