the minister shown in the first shot and the scene in the weasleys house wasn't the guy at the table with voldemort in the beginning. they're different people but it seems like you thought they were the same person for some reason. they just both have long hair. Fudge didn't die, the minister shown in the beginning did. He was head of the auror office and became minister after fudge resigned.

When reading about Dumbledore's death, there was no sitting up the tears would just curl into your mouth......there was pain.....so much pain, it was hard to think. hahaha, I got your back Jane and there is a certain character in the novel of Star Wars that had the same effect/affect

Also, I tried watching the video on the Mega.nz site, I got 30 mins in and the video stopped with a pop window saying, "Transfer quota exceeded." From there you either have to arbitrarily wait over 4 hours or purchase one of their subscription plans to continue. And there's no way to download the video after that. Sorry I don't want to be bothered with creating yet another account on some random service. I guess I can wait the 4 hours and see if it will let me download then but this kinda sucks, being a new patron and all. I'd rather not have to download and store anything if possible.

Small correction. Bill isn’t a werewolf. He did get scratched by Greyback, he didn’t get it deep enough to turn but he does crave red meat more then he did.

I still think you’ve got it wrong, though. There are three ministers mentioned: Fudge (resigned or fired, can’t remember), Scrimgeour (guy at the very beginning and later bringing Dumbledore’s will) and Pius Thicknesse (guy at the table with Voldemort and Snape, and later at the Ministry with Umbridge). Scrimgeour is minister at the beginning of the movie, and he’s NOT following or being controlled by Voldemort. Actually, I think the book says that he was tortured before he was killed, and although he knew Harry’s whereabouts (because he visited him at the Weasley’s), he didn’t give him up. He was, when it came down to it, a good and brave man. Pius then became minister after Voldemort infiltrated the ministry, and I believe he is under the imperius curse. Anyway he’s not dead.

I really like your reactions of these series, especially because JV is the first time watching these. You know, actually the war has silently begun in the series since the 5th one, 'The Order of The Phoenix,' with the fight scene in the ministry. However, this part is the one that literally shows their situation. Just like in the real world, bullets (spells) fly everywhere in the fight, and people die or badly get hurt with no reasons. All the characters in the movie are in very dangerous situation, and there are no exceptions for dying, just like mad-eye's death. Also for the minister of magic, Fudge isn't officially dead. After all the mess in the 'Order of the Phoenix,' Rufus, the very first man in the movie, got the place of minister and get killed by death eaters. Then Pius, a Voldemort's pawn, took that place.

A couple of things here, and I will try to be brief, but it is hard when you are asking questions about things that they will for some reason never reveal in the movies.. I dont think Jane explained this, but there is a reason Harry went back to the Dursleys every summer. Since Harry’s mother gave him blood protection, and her sister lives in that house, Dumbledore was able to put a spell there that protected Harry. As long as he could call that house his home, Voldemort couldn’t touch him there. So as Harry comes of age and the Dursleys move out for their own safety, Harry has to go, too. It’s no longer home. The actor who plays Bill Weasley is the son of the actor who plays Mad Eye Moody! Every time JV says “the green spell” I cant help but think of Will Smith in Independence Day when he says “Oh no you did NOT shoot that green shit at me!!” The traitor who gave away when Harry would be moved was Hagrid. He didnt mean to, because he has such love for Harry, but you know how he says stuff he’s not supposed to say sometimes. It was made really clear in the novel. Hermione said Voldemort’s name in the coffee shop. There’s a trace on Voldemort’s name. That’s how the death eaters found them so quickly. Also, Xenophilius Lovegood said Voldemort’s name when the trio were at his house and the death eaters got there immediately. The reason the sword was in the pond is because a Gryffindor can only get the sword under conditions of bravery. Whoever put it there knew that. It was intended for Harry to be brave and jump into the freezing pond to get it, but the locket wasn’t having it. Ron grabbed the sword from the bottom of the pond when saving Harry, so thats why Ron needed to be the one to destroy the locket. Finally, yes, showing Ron all that stuff made him want to stab the locket. But thats kinda the beauty of the whole thing. Voldemort doesn’t understand what it is like to love or to have friends. He really thought it would paralyze the person trying to destroy it. This is really the first sign (maybe not the first, but the first that is loud and clear) that Voldemort isnt as smart as he thinks he is. He is powerful, yes, but really not great at understanding others so he makes mistakes. This is one of them. Another mistake of his that we have seen is that he entrusted his followers with at least one horcrux, which is a precious piece of his soul. Lucius had the diary. Voldemort mistakenly thought that leading through fear was a good idea. People do stupid things when they are afraid. Cannot wait to see your reaction to the final movie!

I would definitely be happy to see you watch and react to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, as well as Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. The second movie isn't as good as the first, but both are still good nonetheless. I especially love the first movie and the movies' main character. Voldemort went straight for Moody, thinking that they would put the real Harry with the most experienced auror. Other death eaters were attacking the rest of them. But Hedwig knew which one was the real Harry and tried to protect him. The death eaters knew immediately the real Harry was with Hagrid, relayed that info to Voldemort, and then he showed up to try to finish Harry off. In the book, it was a little bit Hedwig that gave it away, but it was mostly that the real Harry was using expelliarmus on a non-death eater he knew was under the imperious curse because he didnt want to kill him.

Seems approximately 2 weeks, though not precise, Half Blood Prince was posted three Thursdays ago, and Deathly Hallows part 1 was last Saturday. Order of the Pheonix was 2 weeks and 2 days before Half Blood prince so it feels like 2 weeks and 2 days, but the video before OotP was exactly 2 weeks earlier, so it's just not 100% consistent. I'd estimate around next Thursday to Saturday.

Just to add on to the trace on Voldemort's name. Many people watching the movies the first time confuse it (understandably so because the movies did a poor job explaining it) thinking that the trace was ALWAYS there and that's why people say "You-Know-Who" when actually, before Harry came to Hogwarts, the name Voldemort struck so much fear into people that they started saying You Know Who sort of like a superstition. Then when Voldy is back to his full power in the last book, that's when he puts a trace on his name because Harry was never afraid of calling him Voldemort. In the book, Harry is very reluctant about not calling him Voldemort, and I'm pretty sure discovers that his name is traced because he says it, and death eaters appear. But yeah, the movies make it seem like the trace has been there forever. It hasn't.

After that open MEGAsync and the full movie will download on your computer where you can watch it full without it pausing. You can download 2 Movies and than you have to wait 5 hours to download 2 again. This worked for me and maybe it will work for you too.#
