Love the reactions! I cried and applaud like you guys did when I first saw the 10th Doctor re-appeared on my live watch (eventhough I knew he was gonna be in it lol). And that final line "I don't wanna go" from 10th hurt me right in the feels too! :'( 10th will always be my doctor <3 But my favourite line from this was probably: "Great men are forged in fire, it is the privilege of lesser men to light the flame." Beautiful and heartbreakingly delivered line by Sir John Hurt (RIP) he is a great additional of being the Doctor. I just wish we could see more of him! Oh boy, season 7 is ending so you two better hold on tight! GERONIMO!

The war doctor was regenerating into 9 in the TARDIS now that the war is over and they didn't need a warrior anymore; Chris didn't want to take part thats why they only showed the beginning of the regeneration and only part of Chris's face started to show up. The curator at the end was played by the actor who was the 4th Doctor and people who watched classic who's usual favorite because he had the role so long. :)

Great reaction, the reason we didn’t see war turn into 9th is bexuse Chris Eccleston was meant to return but decided not to as he had issues on set etc.. that’s why they only morphed his eyes into it when they showed alll the clips of all doctors 9s was re used clip along with 1 & 2 & 3 (as those actors are all dead). The curator was also tom Baker who played the 4th doctor. But not as the doctor as the curator also what do you mean by chucks? They’re converse lol hence why they keep saying their sand shoes. Is chucks Canadian for Trainers or Converse? 10s the only one to where converse. And well the other new series where boots. I think 5th wore trainers

Tissues at the ready again next week guys! Also a bit of an easter egg in the episode. The girl with the inhaler had a scarf on, that was the scarf of the 4th Doctor who was Tom Baker, the old man at the end. You can hear the Doctor say "nice scarf" when he lands down from dangling from the Tardis in London

Around this time I always hope reactors get to see some of the other specials from around the 50th anniversary. There was a dramatised documentary called Doctor Who: An Adventure in Time and Space which is really worth a watch and a spoof called 'The Five-ish Doctors Reboot' written by Peter Davidson (The 5th Doctor). I would definitely say they are worth checking out :)

Absolutely loved watching this back with you both. I watched this in the cinema in 3D originally. It was such a massive event here. For long-term fans, obviously the lines of the First Doctor and things like that bring up all emotions. And the scene with the Curator, was a really well-hidden secret. Tom Baker, widely regarded as the best Doctor (certainly until Tennant came along anyway), was amazing and it gives me massive chills seeing him there. His voice is just so incredible.
