We did see Ten regenerate into himself, just so you know - there was the whole deal with the hand and him putting his regen energy into, creating the Human Doctor

Great reaction, guys. Bit of trivia for you: the twelve regeneration limit was established way back in the 4th Doctor's era, the late 1970s. They had no concept that the show would last so long back then, so the idea that there would actually be so many Doctors was fanciful, 13 seemed like it would never be reached, Then the new series came along and was a massive hit. Steven Moffat wanted to ensure the longevity of the show so the new regeneration cycle was granted by the Time Lords. Incidentally, the only other Time Lord to receive a new cycle was the Master when he was resurrected to fight in the Time War, since the original Master had burned through all his regenerations during the Classic era.

Eleven is definitely my favourite doctor. He's a young dude but you really feel like he is hundreds of years old. Matt smith is a great actor.

At some point you will realize, that the Doctor loved Rose so much, he gave her an entire regeneration. Then you will realize that the head of a Cyberman is his longest running Companion, second only to the TARDIS itself.

1:00:30, yes Jane you are correct, that is when it was done. It was unexpected, when it occurred, just as this was unexpected for you. It balances out one of the things you were robbed of and now, as Thanos said, there is balance. You really did not miss out on the moments and you proved, that the amount of vitriol you had to take, was not cool and we as a fandom, should rethink the experience we are giving to new fans. It was actually good that this happened, it should have taught us the fans, to be better.

Amy (Karen Gillian) and The Doctor (Matt Smith) were wearing wigs in that final scene. She was bald from playing Nebula and he was bald for no reason in that Terminator film, that we don't speak of. This was my Doctor, I grew up watching them out of order, so I didn't understand the number thing, they were all just the Doctor to me (I believed the TARDIS picked which Doctor she needed to complete the mission), until this guy, he hit every button for me. Here comes Peter and Peter is the real deal, enjoy what is to come.......one last time.........Geronimo!!!!!!!!

I cried along with you :') Capaldi is an amazing Doctor! I've always said 10th is my doctor, but 12th made me really rethink my decision lmao. But it always goes back and forth with these two. Looking forward for the 2nd episode with12th/Clara! Fav duo after TheDoctorDonna!

I am a bit late here obviously, but just wondering why 9 is your favourite? not heard anyone else really say that before. like in order, I would say for me it is 11, 12, 10, 5, 4, 3, 9/1. not attacking or saying your opinion is wrong, just generally curious
