The doctor never aged in his confession dial, he spent a day finding room 12 and burned himself to make a new copy and that loop endlessly repeated itself over the next 4 billion years until the last copy broke the wall and escaped, hence he’s still 2000+ yrs old

Yeah, exactly. Think of it as like making a document in 2013, saving and closing, and then not opening it again until 2021. While time outside the computer has passed, the document still acts as if it was made that same day in 2013. In this scenario, the Doctor is the document and the teleporter was the computer. That's how I understand it, anyway.

Regarding your irritation with Bill... I think you're right, she's not as quick as Clara to pick things up. But I think she's more emotionally intelligent than Clara and Rose... similar to Donna she has an empathy that really works in a companion, so I forgive her sometimes being slightly slower - though I've only really noticed it since you guys keep bringing it up :D

Re the comment about other ships, etc. I think the Doctor was referring to a time, in DW canon, when the Earth was uninhabitable due to solar flares. This was covered some Classic Who stories, and in the Matt Smith story “The Beast Below” (5x02).

Nice, reaction, when the doctor was in the confession dial he kept re printing himself, so it reset him to the current age he was, he never actually aged. Also in this series, as well as a continuation it’s also a jump start for new viewers hence why the first episode was called Pilot, which explains why it’s a bit slow at some points. Also bill is one of those companions that like to question everyone, a bit like Donna, however her comedy is more in a question form compared to Donna who just said it at odd random times. Bill is my favourite companion and this is my favourite 12th Doctor series, can’t wait for more and Incase you missed my previous message, your welcome for the Tardis Diary, you definitely deserve it for all the effort you put in for these reactions and great thats it’s useful for you guys. (If your curios with my name is pronounced Loo-cee-a, I’m used to my name being pronounced wrong as a lot of people do). Glad the notebook it helps the work :)
