Hi Sam. Sorry you are having issues with your Yeti. This video sounded great anyway - the lapel mic is so sweet with your whispering! I read this online as a way to check if its the mic or the cable or your phone that's causing the issue: Check plugs and ports for signs of damage or obstruction. Likewise for any adapters or converters you may be using. Plug another known working mic into you phone. Try your Yeti mic on another known working computer or audio device. Determine if the problem stays with your phone or follows the Yeti mic or the cable. Another thing you can do is listen on the mic and while doing so gently twist, bend, and pull on the cable from one end to the other - especially at the ends. If you can physically cause the fading/mic drop out etc. by manipulating the cable then the cable is the culprit. Hope this helps!
