I am currently waiting for Maya to render the rest of the scenes (it's currently rendering about just half a second of animation each hour!) And this is the fastest I can get it, without sacrificing the quality noticeably.  I did all the optimizations and tricks I could think of (otherwise, it would take another month to render the final scenes) so I really can't speed things up more than this...I recently finished working on all the post processing effects (lava, explosions, debris... as my computer still can't really handle these effects in maya. so I had to do them in "Adobe After Effects" which is similar to Photoshop, but for video.I also started working on sound already, to help speed things up (for the scenes that finished rendering so far) and I'm assuming this will be all finished between 8 to 15 days.My next update should be the trailer and release date! ;)
