Hello everyone!

I did everything I could to make sure this animation would be finished by the start of July, but unfortunately it's gonna be impossible and it's out of my control at this point.

The main reason is the RENDERING process:

In 3D software, "Rendering" is the process of converting the low quality preview 3d models  to high quality, realistic images, FRAME BY FRAME: (Kinda like exporting the final result, very slowly)Rendering has always been a very slow process that requires a lot of computing calculations:

This process can take around 3 to 9 minutes PER FRAME on my animations! Which means between 90 minutes to 4 hours and half just to render/export a single second of animation. (this depends on the hardware I have, the settings I use and optimizations. And I did everything I could to make it render as fast as possible without sacrificing the quality noticeably)Because this is my biggest animation EVER, it's also gonna take longer to finish rendering!

There's really nothing else I can do to speed things up. Rendering has always been a very slow process I'd say there's a 50% chance it will finish rendering at the end of July, but a 100% guarantee that it will be definitely finished during August!

On the bright side, this delay means this is gonna be the longest animation I ever publishedThere's another big reason for the delay: RENDERING BUGS OR ARTIFACTS:

Octane Render, despite looking nice, is awful for animations involving combinations of very large objects and tiny objects on the same scene, You either get weird artifacts like this on tiny people or large dark spots on giantesses or any other large objects. (What a nightmare this is for giantess animations!) o.OI try to fix most of these problems in post, (with video editing tricks) however, fixing a problem with Photoshop on a single frame or fixing something on a video (with thousands of frames) is very different and that alone can take me another week to get rid of most of these.

I understand these are disappointing news, and I also completely understand that some of you might want to take a break from my patreon, at least until this animation is finally finished, especially in though times like this! With that said, I'm 100% sure that it will be finished during August (maybe before, but I really can't guarantee it) I Really didn't want to write this post, but if I want this animation to be great and longer, then there's no way around it :/  Anyway, here's a couple more renders for now ;)

my rl work involving 3D render too so I totally understand how time consuming you beautiful work can be. Please take your time, the great works are totally worth for all the waiting (≧ω≦)/

Jon

Take your time man. I'm sticking with you because I know this is going to be worth the wait however long the wait might be.

Trev

I beyond massively appreciate your attention to detail and doing things right than rushing things out - it is I am guessing a large part why you make some of the best animations I have ever seen. I look forward to it being done, when it is done :)

Mean774

Thanks for being transparent about this, and do what you think is best for the animation. I'll stay along for the line, no matter how long it takes.

Cool

I know you were absolutely dreading writing this out, but it is what it is man. I can confidently say the vast majority of your supporters like myself understand that the kind of work you do takes time. The detail and complexity is always staggering, and from what you've said, this is the biggest in both of those areas. You're only one man, please don't concern yourself too much being worried about this. I still greatly anticipate the release whenever it comes.

Ronin Rend

Called it, not surprised in the slightest. Have you made a post that even acknowledges that you've met your goal?

quality takes time so I prefer to have a beautiful animation that leaves me breathless than to have one of terrible quality I prefer to wait

Shedinja

Slow and steady wins the race.

Take your time and I will still keep supporting your patreon. It's a fantastic job you have done so far and I appreciate the little renders you gave us. It would be more than a delight if you can keep showing us more gifs as previews of your work but if that's a hassle, then we will wait patiently for the final outcome! Thanks for everything and for keeping us updated!

While the wait is disappointing, the end result will make this wait worth it! I'm still super excited to see this animation, so continue to take your time until it's right! Thanks for the update, Ashkii!

Rubisco

Please take your time and make it great!

Bro you're the best in the business. Everyone will wait, you've never once let your fans down. Is there any additional performance/power/hardware you can get on your current system, or are you essentially maxxed out? Can't wait man, this looks great.
