And let’s just say… the night turned out to be even more exciting than you’d planned. After a very long and very adventurous night together, you eventually fell asleep in each other’s arms. Everything was perfect. Except for one tiny little detail… Neither of you set an alarm. 😂 So the next morning, you suddenly wake up to voices and footsteps outside. You freeze. Then you hear your coworkers arriving. Someone is unlocking the front door. Someone else is already talking about getting the place ready for opening. You look at her. She looks at you. Neither of you says a word. You both know exactly what’s happening. You quickly grab your clothes and your phones, trying not to make a sound. Then you hear someone coming closer. “Okay… we need to get out. NOW.” You quietly make your way toward the nearest exit you know your coworkers won’t be using yet. There’s no dramatic action-movie escape. No jumping off rooftops. Just two half-awake people desperately trying not to get caught, whispering “Shhh!” at each other every five seconds while trying not to laugh. And somehow, at the absolute last possible moment, you manage to slip outside before anyone sees you. You’re standing there, out of breath, looking at each other like… “Did we seriously just get away with that?” And then you both start laughing. You head to a little coffee shop to recover from the night — and especially from your ridiculous morning adventure. And that’s when your new girlfriend looks at you, smiles, and says: “Last night was amazing… …but honestly? Sneaking out this morning without getting caught was even better.” And that’s when you realize… You may have just created the most unforgettable first date ever. 😉

You eventually escape through a broken window, run past the parking lot into an abandoned house and have some spooky fun in there. You are save, you are together and can finally start your life over.... Until afterwards, everything begins to fade. Your hands, your boyfriend's face, the bedroom itself. And you are transported back to the asylum. Same room, same restraints..... But this time your boyfriend is transported with you instead of being a doctor. You both are confused until he starts to remember. You weren't locked up because you were violent or anything. You were locked up because you started seeing him everywhere. You had conversations when nobody else was there. We learn that said boyfriend died 10 years ago and eventually you passed away too 1 year later of a broken heart. You both are now residual energy that loops over and over every Halloween night, planning your escape from the place that was only trying to help.
