13 days until episode ignis (Patreon)

for today's warm-up i thought i could start an ep ignis countdown lolol;; one doodle a day should be possible, RIGHT?

wrong.

first of all, he's still incredibly hard to draw it's frustrating sometimes. also i have entered another "my hand doesn't remember how to draw the easiest things" phase, which is highly inconvenient bc deadlines are all around me. as usual, i'll just ignore this problem and try to push through until it goes away on its own (in my experience that usually works with most problems LOL)

this sketch was done all on one layer, i still like to experiment with that sometimes, or, when i feel like the drawing i'm working on will fail anyway, i just merge all layers and try to paint over things i don't like until they look kind of right?? and then move on, the milk has been spilled, no time to cry over it.

ANYWAY this isn't as good as it could be (or rather, as good as i'd like it to be) but good enough for a warm-up!! it's time for a late lunch before i continue working on other things o/
