It's been 150 pages since we've last seen Emma!! I missed her ; -;

Also she gets to wear a Trahearne shirt in this scene because I must shove my love for Guild Wars 2 at her as much as I can~ 💚 it's her 3rd GW2 shirt by now I think, she got to wear a skritt in chapter 2 and a quaggan in her character sheet haha I wish I had this much GW2 merch ; -;)

Oh, also - seems Kai isn't over the small disagreement from before. 💦

This breaking my heart! Jasper seems to understand that there isn't really one way to be 'normal'. Being healed doesn't mean you necessarily need to go back to your life the way it was, because sometimes the way things were is the problem. With Kai it kinda seems like that was the case? He mentioned how he never had the passion that his sister and Jasper has about their jobs. To me, it kinda seems like he got the job he thought he was 'supposed' to have, not what he wanted to do. Or something like that. And that can take its toll. I wonder if Jasper is questioning if Kai going back to the same type of job would actually make Kai happy? Jasper clearly just wants Kai to be happy, but anxiety is a bitch(source: me, person with diagnosed anxiety disorder. XD) and I think its making Kai misinterpret what Jasper is trying to tell Kai so Kai is thinking that Jasper doesn't believe he can do it. So I'm just sitting here with my heartbreaking because I just want these to be happy and ridiculously in love!! This got kinda long so....sorry about that? XD These two just give me so many feelings!!!!

Oh Kai.. I hope someday you see that happiness in life can take many shapes and evolves. It’s ok to pursue a different future and it does not make you less than your former self.. in fact it counts as wisdom gained perhaps.
