a) Jasper does not hold a grudge.

Aww I'm so glad the brothers were able to talk and Eli was able to have that moment of introspection and realize he didn't have to be like their mother. It's great that he apologized to Jasper and that Jasper was able to understand and accept the apology.

!! The sibling camaraderie is so real! My brothers and sister do this sort of thing with our mom. Healing together is weirdly fulfilling and learning to manage our mother so that we don't put each other in tight spots is a binding experience.

I felt it when the plate called for help. RIP plate, you tried your best. At least you were almost dry! A soaking death is a devastating one. I love how forgiving and understanding Jasper is. Even when it happened at the wedding, he knew Eli didn’t mean his harsh words and only reflected what his mother taught him. It’s also a lesson in parenting and role models. We have to remember that children parrot the first couple years of their life and rely on role models and teachings to learn. We want to surround children with love and support and show them that all forms of love and life are acceptable 🥰 Great chapter, Kan!
