I apologise for the long silence, things have been a bit scuffed on my end and I've been - as they say - going through it a little bit 😅

But I'm trucking along as much as I can, progress has been slow but things are still happening, and I appreciate your patience with me as always ; u ; )

Shallow Sleep chapter 02, titled "I'm here", begins next Tuesday on February 14th, please look forward to it!

The chapter introduces a new character, Orion, who didn't exist in older versions of the story, they're a very fresh addition to the cast! I hope you will love them u wu)

I also spent some time with Homestyler today, because I needed a view of Leo's apartment for upcoming pages.

I'm not done with it yet but this is kind of the vibe I'm going for:

(The images on the walls are only placeholders, they will probably be like.. band posters and dark, edgy artwork)Leo lives in a very small place in a big city (expensive 💀) and he doesn't really own a lot of stuff. He can't be bothered to buy a bed, he's fine with just a big mattress on the floor, and he loves his blankets and pillows and the view on the city outside of the big window.

The rest of the apartment is furnished very sparsely, whenever he's home he spends 95% of his time in bed, he doesn't cook and he doesn't invite people over, so his place tends to also be quite messy most of the time.

When I'm done with the whole apartment I'll show you! I think we won't even get to see most of it in the comic but once I'd started designing his room, I couldn't just stop until the entire flat was mapped out |D Also helps me establish what type of person he is more for myself!
