Charon still observing from a distance 👀

The background of the little village annhilated me a little bit, I ended up drawing it TWICE because I hated the first version 🤣 So I definitely spent way more time on these pages than I should have, but it was still worth it imho.

Fun fact: I used a reference picture of the village I grew up in for that background! The first iteration of Shallow Sleep took place there entirely, for the new version I decided to make Leo move to the city (Berlin inspired), it made more sense for him to move there than stay in that place. But he's still drawn back to it regularly, despite the bad memories....
