Today I bring you.... something completely without context 💦There have been a lot of Shallow Sleep moments and scenes crawling around in my brain these past few days, and I wanna draw them all immediately and simultaneously, which is sadly impossible.

This scene in particular is something I can't talk much about yet and I don't even know yet whether or not it is going to end up in the actual comic, and if it does - what exactly it will look like by the time I get there, but my current vision of it is in these 3 panels that I spent most of my Saturday on.

Highly recommend listening to this song ("Embers" by Fractures), because it was a big inspiration and is where the title and and text came from, too 💜

I showed some previews of this on Discord last night and was blessed with some theories (looking at you Kuro :3💜), which is always so lovely, learning where my audience's thoughts go when they see my work. Obviously, I can't say what's correct and what isn't yet, but things will make more sense soon, I promise.

Sometimes I also almost feel bad for dumping like 90% kinda sad stuff on y'all on here these days, but I can't help it, what with the general topics of Shallow Sleep and all 🤣 I hope it won't get too much, I personally thrive on this stuff, but I can definitely try to sprinkle in some more happy art and doodles if people need a bit more of a balanced diet!

In unrelated news, I've been thinking about turning the Emerald tier into a limited slots tier that offers physical rewards, like small prints (postcards, stickers, magnets?), every few months, all exclusive and not available elsewhere. I haven't fully made up my mind about it yet, but I'll let you know more very soon!
