#MUTED trading cards ✨ (Patreon)

Hello my gemlins~ 💜

I'm back with something a bit different today. As I was trying to find focus to work on Shallow Sleep storyboards, I realised I was feeling incredibly tired of digital art and desperately needed a change of pace. So I sat down at a different drawing board and got out my Copic markers again for the first time in at least 5 years!

I'm out of practise when it comes to traditional art but working on these tiny little cards was so much fun, I used to draw them a lot back in the day (even did a bunch of commissions in this format for a while) and for the first time in months I felt at ease while drawing and fully able to immerse myself in the process, too. I'm not sure how to explain it, I guess I just feel a bit burned out from digital art, and working with more tangible tools helps a lot haha

Anyway, for now I have decided to ignore the guilt of slow comic progress in order to spend more time with markers & paint whenever I have the time, so you can expect more of this in the near future 😊 More OC art incoming~! (I'll still try to keep up with Shallow Sleep of course)

The cards also have a cute little back pattern:

I would not be opposed to selling these (or future trad art pieces) as original, highly exclusive pieces by the way, but I dunno if anyone would be interested 😅

Also, some more progress shots:

PS: Reminder that there's only a few more days left until I have to take down #MUTED chapters from here in preparation for the relaunch on Webtoon Originals! If you're in the 9.50€ tier, you can download the entire comic as PDF to keep with you forever.

PPS: For anyone who missed the news and finds it relevant -  #MUTED will be released in Germany in spring 2024 by the publisher Papertoons! 🥳🥳🥳
