October Roadmap (Patreon)

Hello my gemlins! 💜

First of all what the hell is going on with the new Patreon logo, I worry for the mental state of the person who created this abomination, blink twice if you need help my guy I'll save u.

Aside from that, IT IS OCTOBER and I bring you my plans for this month!

Two SHALLOW SLEEP updates this month, on October 10th and 24th, which will wrap up chapter 05! I would like to get chapter 06 out this year too and then pause for a minute until next year.

As mentioned in yesterday's post, I'm participating in Inktober again this year and I'll share finished pieces here 24hrs before I post them publicly and I'll combine them into a PDF collection at the end of the month (or early November) for anyone who might want them. I don't know yet if I'll be able to do all days because I'm still quite busy but I'll do my best! I'm also not following any prompts, currently I'm just drawing Baldur's Gate 3 related things because that's where my mind is at 24/7 😂But I also wanna sprinkle in some OCs!

It's been 500 years since I last posted a sketch collection, so you can expect that too! I began compiling images for that 2 months ago but never got around to actually finishing it and I have a ton more I can add now, so it should be a fun thing to browse thru!!

I'll be posting the other finished pieces of promo artwork I did for the relaunch of #MUTED on WEBTOON ORIGINALS too, along with some recordings of the drawing process.

Preparing new goodies for the EMERALD tier! I ordered the Kai + Emma magnets weeks ago to complete the trio, but once again DHL has screwed me over and I think they got sent back to the manufacturer because apparently my address doesn't exist (??) I'll try to get that worked out until the end of the month, as well as have 2 new prints produced so I can send off your goodies either late October or early November! I'll keep you updated u wu)

#MUTED volume 2 book release ??? 👀 (vol3 planned for early 2024)

The #MUTED relaunch went really well btw! I even got a front page banner slot for pretty much the entire weekend (feeling v guilty bc I know a few original creators that rarely, if ever, get that but would deserve it so much because I love their work to pieces T _T);;;;;;;;; )!

I've been reading all the comments for the first few days and I'm really happy that the general feedback has been mostly positive! Also saw some good critique, mostly things I'm very aware of too and I cringe at myself sometimes but that's just normal for a project that started so long ago, and I would do things differently today but alas I can't change it now xD

I also deleted all the main plot pages from Patreon now, the posts are still up, but I replaced the images. The PDFs are also gone from the Google Drive, except for the first two chapters, which are still there in their original black & white style that I started with before I went full colour. I think that should be okay, because a) those chapters are not locked behind the Daily Pass on Webtoon anyway and b) they look super different compared to the coloured version that's up on DP.

I also added the PDF to a short spicy Christmas comic with Jasper and Kai, that I had completely forgotten about, but found again when I sorted some of my posts on here into collections (cool new feature btw, check out the Collections tab on Patreon for quick links to Shallow Sleep chapters, as well as #MUTED artwork + specials! I'll add more collections for convenient browsing as soon as I can).

As usual, the link to Google Drive is available to you if you're an AQUAMARINE gemlin! 💜

I'm also still busy preparing files for the German release of #MUTED, so I might still be a bit quiet on here and not really respond to many of your comments ; o ; ) If you wanna get in touch with me a bit easier, reminder that I run a Discord server for Patreon supporters, that is full of very sweet gemlins, the vibes are top tier always.

Okay, that's it from me for now, why do I always end up typing so much, SORRY FOR RAMBLING and also thank you for your attention if you actually ended up reading to the end, have a cookie and a shrimpie 🍩🍤
