The Fool - A short Baldur's Gate 3 comic (Lev x Astarion) (Patreon)

My hand slipped and suddenly I was working on 10 Levstarion comic pages.

This is still pretty early in their relationship. Lev is the type of person who doesn't really question his feelings, he just rolls with them. He's never really been in love before, so when he realised that he had caught serious feelings for Astarion, it came as a bit of a shock to him, but he accepted this new reality pretty fast and he's very open about how he feels too, without really expecting Astarion to seriously reciprocrate his feelings. I think during the time of this comic, Astarion is already developing genuine feelings for this obnoxiously straightforward bard and occasionally ready to let his guard down around him, but there's set backs every now and then. Lev's demeanour towards him is disarming, dangerously so and it'll take some time for both of them to really find a balance that works for them.

I apologise to everyone who hasn't caught the Baldur's Gate 3  ̶t̶a̶d̶p̶o̶l̶e̶ brainworm and has no idea what the hell I'm talking about 💦💦💦💦💦💦 I just felt like I was gonna spontaneously combust if I didn't get this out of my system immediately. I hope you'll enjoy this a little bit anyway.

I struggled a bit with the text, I didn't really have a script prepared and I'm notoriously bad at shaping thoughts and feelings into actual words, so I dunno how well I managed to bring Lev's musings full circle in a satisfying way without it sounding bad, but it is what it is! Gotta move on, gotta move on, haha.

I have more short scenes sitting in my brain that desperately want to be turned into short comics, too, but I already feel so much guilt about not working on other things that people are expecting from me, so I must ignore that strong creative urge for the time being. T _T)
