Shallow Sleep WIP + Winter Break (Patreon)

Hello my gemlins~ 💜💜💜

First and foremost, I wanna thank you all for your kindness in regards to my Roadmap post from earlier in the month, I wasn't able to reply individually but I read your comments and your words and support truly mean a lot 🥺💜

I made comic progress in short, irregular bursts this month but had a lot of days inbetween those bursts where I wasn't able to get anything done at all (except for admin work and emails and writing and things like that).

Then a few days ago I felt like my internal art library had suddenly been wiped from my brain completely, things I usually consider very easy and comfortable to draw I just COULD NOT remember how to draw anymore, so naturally instead of accepting that massive internal error, I decided to stubbornly crawl back into the primordial soup of art and furiously start doing the most basic anatomy exercises, just drawing skeleton parts, circles, rectangles, some muscles, trying to rebuild my memory of certain shapes and how they're connected to each other @ _@) Which was a very strange experience that I don't know how to explain properly LOL 

I spent almost a week in that soup and just doing some studying has definitely helped but I'm also taking this as a very clear sign that I really need to take a full whole step back for a while, so I have decided to pause Patreon payments for December!Some of you asked me to not do that and I really appreciate you wanting to keep supporting me but for my own peace of mind I think pausing is the best way to go about it, I can't shake the feeling of guilt and people potentially feeling like they're being scammed out of their money otherwise 😂 If you absolutely insist on wanting to spend your hard-earned money on me in December, I do have a Ko-fi, and also an INPRNT (I love their print quality a lot) but it's really really not necessary for you to spend anything on me the next month, I'll be fine with this break and it won't immediately ruin my business, I promise xD I feel weird even posting these links!!!! 

That said, I won't be gone completely, as usual I'll be hanging out in our little Gemlin Discord server and there's gonna be the occasional post on here in December too, just for free this time, it's the least I can do to say thank you for all the support I've been getting from y'all 💜

All that said, the next Shallow Sleep chapter is almost completely inked now, only a few panels left that I just can't get right, then I can dive into colouring very soon 🥳

I've also been dabbling in writing........ a short story....... maybe?? Kind of to supplement my comics a little, I think I've mentioned wanting to try that out before. As soon as I have anything to show for that, you'll be the first (and only people) to know, hehe.
