Chapter 07 outfits! (Patreon)

Because I keep forgetting what my characters are wearing and have to constantly go back to old pages to check (and still end up drawing it wrong occasionally 💀) I decided to draw a quick outfit ref sheet for this chapter!

I did this really fast, so it's very rough and a bit wonky and I couldn't be bothered to give Leo a second leg but I still really like how it turned out and wanted to share it with you all!

I put a lot of thought into both Ori and Leo's fashion style; Leo's fashion is very loosely inspired by early 2000s Visual Kei style as it was worn by the fans around my area during that time, except he's not wearing a million little bells and dice chains and not every piece of clothing needs to have bold stripes 😂 We definitely didn't dress this nicely back then but we were kids and did the best we could, haha. So Leo is basically getting the style I liked back then (and still do!) but for adults 😅

For Ori's style I wanted to make it obvious that they're fit AF (never passing up on a chance to show off their midriff), so it's a bit sporty but at the same time I want them to look like they're ready to go to a rave or club at any moment 😂 Colour choices for them are always mostly black with one or two VERY bright colours as contrast. I first wanted to go with pink for their jacket but then tried the orange and really liked it o _o) Since it's a colour I rarely ever use I figured I'll go with this!

Chapter 07 is progressing nicely so far, this is the finished storyboard:

I started sketching pages today, before I decided to make a quick outfit ref, and I wanna return to streaming tomorrow too to share the process with anyone who wants to watch! (I wanted to stream today originally but my plans got a bit derailed lol)
