So you see her werewolf thoughts as coming from an entirely different entity? I see it more as Emily now has a “werewolf-consciousness “ in her when her brain altered as the rest of her body has. It’s still her, but now as a werewolf. So she’s not dead as such. But perhaps this is tomayto tomahto.

It’s a different entity that psychologically torments her so that she breaks and it replaces her for the rest of the night.
