Dang, been kinda busy of late cause of real life and stuff, have y'all ever wondered why October is the 10th month of the year when octo means 8? Like, octagon, octopus etc. Probably some history thing.

Anyway, doggo will be working on fixing some bugs as usual for this week, also working on the other thing that I mentioned. I'm so tired for some reason, hope I'm not dying lol. That aside there was a couple of things that were reported, so I'll get those fixed as well, if y'all find any more please do let me know!

Oh, speaking of which, just a heads up that we have a suggestion post for the doujin site as usual, so head on over to post a suggestion if y'all are interested yeah!

January and February were actually added to the Roman calendar after it was created by Julius Caesar, so everything else got moved down a couple. It was originally a 10 month year.

And the name originally comes from the late Roman emperor Octavian that wanted a month named after him. In other words October is the month of Roman emperor Octavian! 😆

It’s not only with English, but it’s also found in other languages too. In German German for example we call most of them by very similar names. For October we just use a k instead of a c making it ‘Oktober’ 😄 But maybe that’s because the languages share the same language-tree(?) they originate from. 🤔
