Q&A Live: Tuesday June 11th @12pm ET (link below)

Deep Dive Live: Tuesday June 18th @12:30 pm ET  (link in separate upcoming post for Inner Circle, Elite, & Top Fan Members) Topic: Top Tips for Running a Successful Dog Training Business (details below)

PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR! :)

What is a Live Q&A vs. a Deep Dive?

Live Q&A's typically last 45-60 minutes and are open to all paid DOGGY•U members. Crew and above members can submit a question prior to the live. Q&A's are recorded and you can find every Q&A I've ever done in the "Q&A" section in the "Collections" tab.

Deep Dive's typically last 30-60 minutes and are recorded, so if you can't make it to the live, the recording is posted later that day. They focus on one topic, covered in a webinar-style lecture. You can also see all previous Deep Dive's in the "Collections" tab. Deep Dive's are a member benefit for Inner Circle, OG Elite, and Top Fan members.

LIVESTREAM Q&A INFO:

Reminder that our livestreams are via Zoom but recorded to YouTube for replay viewing after the Zoom. I will post the YouTube replay link after the event with a brief summary of the topics covered. You can always go back and watch past livestreams even if you can't be there live. Participants will be muted so please put follow-up questions that pop up during the Zoom in the chat box. Reminder that questions should be related to the topic I am currently covering and I do not take non-related questions during the Q&A.

Those members who are at the "Crew" ($6/month) level or above are able to submit one question per month with their membership. Leave that question in the comments below.

The cut-off for submitting questions is 2 days prior to the Zoom (Sunday June 9th by 12pm ET is the last date to submit) so that I have time to prepare. Please limit questions to 1 per person so I have time to answer them within the hour. Questions should be general enough that I don't need to know your specific dog/behavior to answer the question (this also allows everyone to benefit from the question). If you're looking for more specific feedback on your dog, be sure to join the Top Fan membership level for video review of your training.

DEEP DIVE INFO: Top Tips for Running a Successful Dog Training Business

Have you been thinking about becoming a dog trainer as a side hustle or full time? Do you have a dog training business but could always use tips to help you grow your business and better serve your customers?

In this Deep Dive I'm going to give you some of my best tips and things I've learned over the years from starting and running 3 successful dog training businesses across two different states. These are things that helped me create value for my customers, while also allowing my business to grow and thrive.

I know a lot of dog trainers support me here on Patreon, and like many other dog trainers, we're both dog trainers and business owners! And what you may not know is that I actually graduated undergrad with a B.S. in BS ... just kidding ... it was in Management and Entrepreneurship. I also hold a Master in Public Administration. Both my education, as well as my experience starting and running businesses, has helped me to sustain a successful career in the pet and service dog industry without burning out.

So, if this interests you, let's talk shop!

If you're not into business stuff, don't worry, we'll be back to dog training topics in the next deep dive :)

 Hope to see you there!

If you're an Inner Circle, Elite or Top Fan member you will receive a link to the livestream in a separate post. If you're interested in this topic and are at the Member or Crew level, you can always upgrade if this topic interests you, and get access to all past Deep Dives (20 months worth!).

Back to the Live Q&A: Please post your question for the June 11th livestream below in the comments!

See you next week!

When I’m talking with a store employee I have my 9 month SD in a sit , she lets out a single loud bark like she wants my attention or a treat. She also does this when in sit potion at check out. I can’t figure out why she does this and how to stop it

Not asking for vet advice, from a training aspect, if you know, how much time off should I anticipate around a “spay” . Thanks!!

DOGGY•U

Thanks for the questions folks! It's going to be a light one this month so be sure to hop on early, as we likely won't be on for the full hour.
