Guide Dogs Explained (Patreon)

My husband and I are big podcast people and today he sent over a relevant show from "The Economics of Everyday Things" on guide dogs! I listened and it's a pretty solid overview so I thought ya'll might enjoy as well!

A Note on the term guide dogs:

"Seeing Eye Dog" in relation to guide dog is like Kleenex is to tissues. Dogs that do guiding tasks for the blind and visually impaired are called "dog guides" or "guide dogs" and not "Seeing Eye dogs" which is actually a brand of guide dog. So unless the dog came directly from The Seeing Eye guide dog school, the term would be guide dog. Just a little something I see a lot when chatting about guide dogs.

Happy Sunday!
