Imagine walking into a crowded airport or a busy restaurant, and your service dog seamlessly tucks away under your chair—so discreetly that people don’t even notice they’re there.

Sounds like magic? It’s not!

In this video, I’m going to show you exactly how to train your service dog to tuck like a pro—whether it’s under a table, a chair, an airline seat, or even under your legs in tight spaces.

From step-by-step training methods to expert tips for getting even large dogs to curl up small, you’ll learn everything you need to make tucking second nature for your service dog.

This includes having your service dog go under tables or chairs to settle, tuck into a tight ball in the car or on an airplane, as well as tuck or go under your legs when they can't fit under a table or chairs. Being able to tuck and go under are both fundamental service dog skills for public access. Gea Bean

This might be a weird question, but I’ve been following your content for so long. It’s helped me immensely, but ohhh my gosh I feel like I’m not doing enough during the day! I ensure my puppy gets the recommended amount of sleep, but I feel like his wake windows aren’t enough to address puppy behavior AND training even if it’s a couple minutes. Because sometimes he is “Shark Boy.” 😂 Have you ever posted a puppy schedule or Denver’s schedule that includes his naps and wake windows?

DOGGY•U

Hey Gea! I do actually have a PDF of a general puppy schedule that I more or less follow with Denver. You can find all my PDFs in the collections tab under PDFs/Protocols (or I shortcut it here for you: https://www.patreon.com/posts/puppy-daily-64936725?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link ) The reality is that Denver is a VERY busy puppy and has a really quick recharge rate. It's actually harder for me to get him the needed rest than time for training lol! That being said, keeping training sessions to just 3-5 minutes a couple times a day should get you where you want to go :)

Leah Burris

Hey I just wanted to say I super appreciate how descriptive you are with your instructions. I’m blind and struggle with a fair amount of dog trainers videos as a lot of things tend to be described visually.

DOGGY•U

Hi Leah! I'm so glad my level of description is working for you! Having grown up with a father who is blind, and having worked for a decade in guide dogs, I try my best. Glad to hear it's *mostly* on point! <3
