Hi! This is a great video! If I am capturing, (or I guess this question goes for all methods) how do I know when should I name it? After this video I believe capturing will work with things my dog do naturally; but i am not sure how to take the step and “make it a command”.

So with capturing you can add a cue once the dog is in what we call a “loop”. So when you’re to the point that you’ve clicked for the behavior, rewarded, and the dog looks at you and does the behavior again, and this loop continues for several repetitions. Then you insert the cue so then it goes, dog does the behavior, click, treat, cue, dog does behavior.
