Hey DoggyU Community!

During the Thanksgiving holiday I started to tape a new video series on a long-term task-training project between CoolWhip and I. And then life happened and I made some decisions regarding that task that caused me to pivot my training goal.

So, please check out the video and let me know if:

1) you'd like to see the full training sessions including the paw alert training that I've decided to eliminate from the task after the 8th training session

 or

2) if you'd prefer I edit the videos down to just the retrieving series

The video will explain more but I appreciate your input as I start this training series for your review (mistakes and all!)

As always, I appreciate you all being here. Patreon is my favorite part of my job and I'm grateful for you all <3

Thank you for offering this to all of your viewers. I think it would be beneficial to see all of the content even if the paw behavior is not a part of the final task. It might be helpful to some viewers for other tasks or even just for fun. Thank you again for being so real with yourself and everyone else. It definitely helps knowing that we are all human and need to prioritize health over everything (which is why we have such great service dogs :)). Personally, it was a sigh of relief to hear that you even take breaks from training. It makes me love your methods even more!

I'm so glad you found that helpful! Sometimes it's hard to know what's a share vs. an overshare! It does feel a bit vulnerable to post those sorts of things because it feels less professional, but everyone here is just so supportive and lovely, and honestly, when I was first having problems, and anxiety/depression/ADHD/PTSD etc. weren't talked about much, I thought I was the only one and I wished I knew that so many people had similar struggles. Thanks for your comment. It really made my day :)
