Hey Friends!

If you missed the Q&A, here is the replay!

Topics: Preparing your SDiT for subway riding and different types of alert behaviors you can train.

1. Sorry for the weird intro ... i promise I was talking about my new Dyson air purifier thing blowing hot air at me ... it just came off weird.

2. If you watched to the end, you know I got emotional and signed off. I apologize for the abrupt ending - it's been quite a rollercoaster of a last few months. Just know that I appreciate all of you being here and supporting the channel and ultimately, me and my business. Leaving my full-time guide dog job was not an easy decision and it was not something I expected to do, or had financially prepared for, especially in such an abrupt way. One of the things that made it possible for me to prioritize my health over a paycheck was knowing that you all have been supporting my business through Patreon, and that if I had even more time to devote to it, I could make something good, even better. The DoggyU Community is truly one of my favorite parts of DoggyU, and I am so grateful for every one of you. Thank you <3

I finally made it to your Patreon! Love the idea of a Boykin or a Working Cocker! They are both on my short list if I ever decide I’m not up for grooming my Poodles anymore. For Labs, I’m sure you’ve considered Eromit in Canada? They do tend to have some smaller dogs. I have a friend with one and she’s a pipsqueak compared to some of the huge Labs out there 🤣. They have a fabulous reputation in the sport dog world.

They are definitely on my list! That being said, I would love to find one in the US, just for logistical reasons. But they do seem to have amazing dogs. I'm realizing a lab is probably the future, just because it gives me more versatility in what tasks I can show people how to train ... it's going to be hard for a cocker to find me an elevator button lol!

I'm excited to see what your new year shapes up to be! I'm glad that I found you here and I'm looking forward to the courses and interested in the business stuff as well since I own a small business (totally unrelated to dogs though).
