PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR! :) I will no longer be doing reminder posts as it seems to cause some confusion, so be sure to mark down the date and Zoom link! 

Reminder that our livestreams are via Zoom and I will post the YouTube replay link after the event with a brief summary of the topics covered. You can always go back and watch past livestreams even if you can't be there live. Participants will be muted so please put follow-up questions that pop up during the Zoom in the chat box. Reminder that questions should be related to the topic I am currently covering. If I forget to turn closed captioning on, please remind me!

Those members who are at the "Crew" ($6/month) level or above are able to submit one question per month with their membership. Leave that question in the comments below.

The cut-off for submitting questions is 2 days prior to the Zoom (Sunday July 16th) so that I have time to prepare. Please limit questions to 1 per person so I have time to answer them within the hour. Questions should be general enough that I don't need to know your specific dog/behavior to answer the question (this also allows everyone to benefit from the question). If you're looking for more specific feedback on your dog, be sure to join the Elite or Top Fan membership level for video review of your training.

The Deep Dive Live this month is going to be on Retrieve/Hold (formal retrieve/fetch). The retrieve can be a complex behavior (more than I can address in a 30-45 minute session), but it's also a topic I get a ton of questions about. I plan on doing a comprehensive service dog retrieve course in the future, but in this month's deep dive I will be outlining my general strategy for teaching a retrieve, as well as ways to add duration to the hold.  I will also be taking your questions on training the retrieve before the session so I can hopefully address them during the Deep Dive.
