I've talked about putting sniffing on cue a few times here on Patreon. Earlier this year I had the privilege of watching Hannah Brannigan demonstrate this sniffing/Premack protocol at Clicker Expo.

Think of putting sniffing on cue in the same way that we use the engage/disengage game to allow the dog to look at the thing that excites them/makes them nervous. Once we allow them to do the thing, that thing holds less and less power, until it's not much of a thing at all.

In any event, this podcast is highly worth the listen as another tool in the toolbox.

Happy Training Ya'll!
