Bust out your wands, draw your magic circles, it's time for a new Eskie Effects update! This month we're going back to basics and adding more building blocks for your Sequencer macros with a whole collection of new CASTING effects! With a few extra additions to jazz up the casting experience in your games. The new MANIFEST LINK is over in the MASTER POST. A huge thank you to all of my patrons for continuing to support the project. I hope these new magical toys find their way into plenty of your adventures! 💖✨

MASTER POST (<- Spellcasting Update here)🌀 CASTING EFFECTS

It always takes me way too long to figure out which effects to combine to create a good "startup" for my spells and abilities. That's why this month is all about expanding the pool of casting effects. These effects are your one-stop shops for kicking off your Sequencer macros, making it aesthetic and easy to get your effects going. The current roster focuses on some of the more common ability themes, but more importantly, these effects establish the casting effect template that can be expanded upon in future elemental and class-themed updates. In this update you will find casting effects fitting Arcane, Divine, Nature, and Physical spells and abilities. Each coming in 2-3 variants, as well as a side angled version and a looping version. And of course a rainbow of recolors.

🖥️ GAME UI EFFECTS

In addition to the casting effects, I sprinkled in a few extra visual tools that sit just outside the usual realm of effects to help round out the player's casting experience. Completing the custom crosshair mechanic, I added a couple reticles to choose from and a new simple circle AoE (perfect to use as a ability range indicator). But my favorite addition, is a new dice rolling effect for ability checks and saves. Inspired by what you would find in BG3, these effects provide a neat and quirky visual indicator above a token whenever it succeeds or fails a check. The ability check effects include a variety of icon options. You can use classic success and failure symbols or icons representing your token's attributes. As well as a blank version, for you to overlay your own icons, or even display the result of the roll itself. You can check out all the new effects this update in the ASSET PREVIEWER! Just click the "new" button and it will filter only the new effects in the library.Battlemap made with assets by: https://2minutetabletop.com/
